Poem I Sritanuka
Amidst the hush of tear-stained walls,
A melancholic mood befalls,
As someone dear must now depart,
Their leaving leaves an aching heart.
Within these rooms, familiar grace,
Their laughter echoes, leaves its trace,
But now, a void, an empty space,
As they embark on a distant chase.
Embraced by memories of the past,
Their presence lingers, meant to last,
Yet still, the ache of their farewell,
Like fading echoes of a bell.
The somber notes of raindrops fall,
Upon a heart, an ancient thrall,
In echoes of a distant past,
The tears of sorrow, they amass.
Yet in this twilight’s haunting sigh,
Hope’s ember sparks, refusing to die,
For in the depths of sadness found,
A strength to rise from hallowed ground.
So let the tears flow free tonight,
In the comfort of love’s sweet light,
For in this melancholic gloom,
We’ll find the strength to let them bloom.
