THE OTHER SIDE OF ME | Naman Todi
The other side of me is not so cruel and careless.

The other side of me is the part of a better mess.
The one who gets misjudged as a liar and a faker.
The one who writes his own tragic story on a piece of paper.
The other side of me can't present myself as a cool dude.
Why do I have to bear with the wings
of my swollen childhood?
The other side of me wants to stay out till dusk and dawn.
Oh there's barely a line,
I'm still hanging on.
I'm still hanging on.
The other side of me wants to cry and sleep like a normal human.
In a group of 18, I find myself as the 18th one.
The other side of me doesn't wanna stress about all the dates and debates.
I wanna release it all with a pack of cigarettes.
I wanna release it all with a pack of cigarettes.
The other side of my life is scattered like a missing puzzle piece.
I never pleaded for money but only for some peace.
The other side of me never wants to steal, beg or lie.
I wanna be a writer but I don't wanna write stuff about me, myself and I.
The other side of me doesn't want to be a trash bag in an all black cupboard.
The other side of me doesn't like to be called stupid or absurd.
This world is full of demons that I am not ready to fight.
The other side of me wants to scream when it's all dark and night.
The other side of me doesn't want anyone to know about my story.
The other side of me wants to stay hidden like an unspoken glory.
For once, I want to stay calm and composed and carefree.
For once this other side just wants to be loved by someone like ME.
