At the lonely bench I stare

It stands tall yet meek in front of me

I caress my tresses to see through thy eyes.

Hence, alone I am whence you're not here

I stand amidst three roads and a cliff behind

Life comes by and bids me hi

And on the other sides are fire and ice

The warmth in sunlight and the cold winds fly.

I believe a breath is enough to settle and calm

And peace is the answer that questions my heart.

Was adventure really a sport befit for a tranquil mind

That writes poems in vain, for strangers miles apart?
